Currently ace-diff is written in vanilla JavaScript, with TypeScript types available through DefinitelyTyped: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@types/ace-diff Those types would have to be republished under the @openc3 namespace in order to make them directly usable when consuming the @openc3/ace-diff package.

I'd suggest a different plan, though: Migrate the package to TypeScript. I'd be happy to help if the new maintainers are interested.
