Submitted relationship values only link back to objects that are valid choices for the field, or that the submitting user can edit. Revisions never link back. New filter: scf/bidirectional/allow_target. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Password-protected posts referenced by Post Object or Relationship fields are only expanded in REST responses for users who can edit them. Block bindings only expand referenced content and user details the viewer can read, and values of password-protected posts stay hidden in the shortcode, block bindings and JSON-LD output until the password is entered. Share one helper for the password gate across output surfaces, apply it to the REST field output, and let block bindings expand references by front-end readability.
