wp/5.9. ThecreateUser()e2e utility (packages/e2e-test-utils/src/create-user.js) now sets the user login, email, first name and last name fields onuser-new.phpwithpage.$eval()instead of typing them withpage.type().Why?
page.type()enters one character at a time, and focus sometimes leaves the field before it finishes, so the user is created with a truncated login or without a first or last name. Theautocomplete mentionstests create theirtestuser("Jane Doe") user once inbeforeAll, so retries can't recover, and they fail in two ways on this branch:@testus.should insert mention between two other wordsandshould insert two subsequent mentionstime out waiting for.components-autocomplete__result, because nothing matches@j(both failed on every attempt in "Admin - 4").Across 36
