wp/6.3 branch Actions: Single Node.js version testingwp/6.3 branch Actions: Test against a single Node.js version
Part of #82930.
What?
Eliminates the
nodematrix dimension fromcreate-block.ymlandunit-test.yml'sunit-jsjob, and stops passingnode-versionto./.github/setup-node, letting it fall back to the version pinned in.nvmrc.wp/6.3has nocheck-latest: trueusage anywhere in the.githubtree, so there was nothing to remove for that part of this change. Why?
Both matrix dimensions only ever contained a single Node.js version (
'14'), matching.nvmrc. A matrix dimension with one value adds indirection without adding test coverage, and creates an extra place a Node.js version number has to be kept in sync with.nvmrcby hand. Letting./.github/setup-nodefall back to.nvmrcremoves that duplication.Use of AI Tools
