The prevailing pattern with sticky elements (see modal headers, dataviews footer) is to render a subtle border to visually define the boundary of the sticky UI. This is currently missing from table column headers in dataviews leading to a slightly awkward appearance:

Separate to fixing this, I wonder if a dedicated ScrollArea component would be useful for ensuring consistent treatment for these kinds of things cc @aduth @mirka.
