Description
Description
In Japanese environments (and likely in all multi-byte environments), when installing a font from Google Fonts, clicking on the font during the variant selection process always results in the topmost variant being selected. However, if you use the checkbox to select a variant, the intended variant is correctly applied.
Step-by-step reproduction instructions
- Set the site's language to Japanese.
- Update (refresh) the translations.
- Go to
Appearance->Editor->Styles->Typography - Select
Manage fonts - Install any font and select a variant
