- Correct control result and generator dispatch types to match existing middleware behavior (#85121).
- Convert the tests to TypeScript (#85121).
- Raise the minimum required Node.js version to
>=22.13.0, for stablerequire(esm)support (#84313).
- Increase the minimum required Node.js version to v18.12.0 matching long-term support releases (#31270). Learn more about Node.js releases.
- Lodash: Remove completely from
@wordpress/redux-routinepackage (#43741).
- Packages: Replace
is-plain-objwithis-plain-object(#43511).
- Added and published TypeScript annotations
- Drop support for Internet Explorer 11 (#31110). Learn more at https://make.wordpress.org/core/2021/04/22/ie-11-support-phase-out-plan/.
- Increase the minimum Node.js version to v12 matching Long Term Support releases (#31270). Learn more at https://nodejs.org/en/about/releases/.
- Change the
isGeneratorcheck for better compatibility with generator helper libraries (#19666).
- Fix unhandled promise rejection error caused by returning null from registered generator (#13314)
- The middleware will no longer attempt to coerce an error to an instance of
Error, and instead passes through the thrown value directly. This resolves issues where anErrorwould be thrown when the underlying values were not of typeErrororstring(e.g. a thrown object) and the message would end up not being useful (e.g.[Object object]). (#13315) - Fix unintended recursion when invoking sync routine (#13818)
- Account for null value in redux-routine createRuntime (introduces
isActionandisActionOfTypemethods to assist with that).
- The middleware returns a promise resolving once the runtime finishes iterating over the generator.
- It's not possible to kill the execution of the runtime anymore by returning
undefined
- Fix running routines in Firefox.
- Change how required built-ins are polyfilled with Babel 7 (#9171). If you're using an environment that has limited or no support for ES2015+ such as lower versions of IE then using core-js or @babel/polyfill will add support for these methods.
