Issue with colors after "save changes to theme" #813

When I create a child theme with Create Block Theme and then define an additional custom color (green), and then click on “Save changes to theme,” only the additional color (green) is saved, but the other colors are no longer defined.

I would have expected green to be offered as an additional (!) option. I have observed this issue frequently. I have usually solved it by making the appropriate changes in theme.json.
