Why

The 2.0 announcement is live on Make Core and the README's list of posts stops at 1.2.

What changes

Adds the 2.0 post to the end of the Make WordPress posts list in README.md, in the same format as the earlier entries. The title matches the published post.

How to test this

No app surface; docs only. Platforms: any.

Starting state: this branch's README.md on GitHub.

  1. Open the README and find the Make WordPress posts list at the top. The last entry is "WordPress Contributor Toolkit 2.0: A redesigned app, in your language (October 2026)".
  2. Click it. It opens the 2.0 post on make.wordpress.org/core.

What must not have happened: the earlier three entries are unchanged.

Risks and limitations

The intro paragraph's "WordPress Contributor Toolkit" link still points at the 1.2 post. Left for a separate README pass, the way 1.2's was.
