[DevHub] WP_DEBUG is commented out in the Fatal Error Handler example on wp-config.php page #2520

Closed

Description

@maheshbohara

Issue Description

In the example, the comment and the WP_DEBUG define are on the same line, so the define is commented out.

URL of the Page with the Issue

https://developer.wordpress.org/apis/wp-config-php/#wp-disable-fatal-error-handler

Section of Page with the issue

WP_DISABLE_FATAL_ERROR_HANDLER

Why is this a problem?

Current code:

define( 'WP_DISABLE_FATAL_ERROR_HANDLER', true ); // 5.2 and later define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

Everything after // is ignored, so WP_DEBUG is never enabled, even though the section is about showing errors.

Suggested Fix

define( 'WP_DISABLE_FATAL_ERROR_HANDLER', true ); // 5.2 and later
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', true );
