What happened?

When logging into a Windows 11 virtual machine with GPU acceleration enabled, the VM will freeze (seemingly when trying to load a component of the Windows desktop) and abort. This does not happen with 3D acceleration disabled, so it's likely to be an issue with 3D acceleration.

This did not happen to me on 7.1.12, the last version of VirtualBox I knew I used on Arch. I also made sure to check on X11 as well as Wayland, as well as the LTS kernel in case it was a kernel-related issue. (my main kernel is linux-zen which includes performance patches)

Log file here - I'm having trouble getting the core dump.

GPU is an AMD Radeon 7900 XT using the built-in AMDGPU drivers.

How can we reproduce this?

1. Install the VirtualBox Guest Additions on Windows 11 with Direct3D Support
2. Restart the virtual machine (and enable 3D acceleration if it wasn't enabled already)
3. Log into your user account
4. Watch VirtualBox crash.
