What happened?
Hey. On Win 11 with VirtualBox 7.2, the GUI/ColorTheme setting is completely ignored.
Example:

…but VirtualBox Manager still shows the light theme.
It only switches to dark if I change Windows system theme (Settings → Personalization → Colors → Dark).
I think, this is a regression compared to VirtualBox 7.0.x, where GUI/Theme=dark worked independently.
How can we reproduce this?
- Install VirtualBox 7.2 on Windows 11.
- Run PowerShell:
VBoxManage setextradata global GUI/ColorTheme Dark
- Open VirtualBox Manager → still light theme.
- Switch Windows to dark mode → VirtualBox becomes dark.
Did you upload all of your necessary log files, screenshots, etc.?
