Description
Why this would be helpful
I’d like to suggest a new Scratch Addon: a 3D Sprite Editor Mode that lets users design simple 3D models and export them as 2D costumes for use in Scratch projects.
The goal is to make it much easier to create 3D‑style games in Scratch, such as Minecraft‑like worlds, 3D platformers, maze games, and fake‑3D shooters, without needing advanced math or external tools.: another one is I’d like to suggest a new Scratch Addon that enhances the Scratch sound editor by adding audio remastering tools. This would help Scratchers improve the quality of their recordings, music, voice lines, and sound effects directly inside Scratch.
The goal is to make audio editing easier, cleaner, and more professional without needing external programs.
How this addon works
A new toggle appears in the costume editor toolbar called “3D Mode (Beta)”.
When turned on, the normal 2D editor is replaced with a 3D viewport.
Users can add basic shapes (cube, sphere, plane) using an “Add Shape” button.
Tools appear on the side:
Move (drag object in 3D space)
Rotate (spin object around axes)
Scale (resize object)
Paint (color faces or whole shapes) 2: When editing a sound, new buttons appear above the waveform:
Clean Audio
Noise Reduce
Normalize Volume
Bass Boost
Treble Boost
Pitch Fix
Clicking a button opens a small slider panel where the user can adjust strength (0–100%).
The user can press Preview to hear the effect before applying it.
When the user clicks Apply, the add‑on processes the audio in the browser and updates the sound.
A Reset button restores the original audio if the user doesn’t like the result.
An optional Auto‑Enhance button applies a preset combination of:
Noise reduction
Volume leveling
Clarity boost
All processing happens locally in the browser — no uploads, no servers.
