fix: only rewrite exact mentions of a renamed user - #43126
When a user's username changes, saveUserIdentity rewrites the @mentions of that user in every message that mentions them. It did that with new RegExp(@${previousUsername}, 'ig'), which has two problems:
No boundary at the end: renaming jo to joe turned @john in the same message into @joehn.
Unescaped username: usernames may contain ., so renaming john.doe also rewrote @johnxdoe.
The rewrite also hit email-like text such as x@jo.
New replaceUsernameMentions (server/lib/users/) escapes the previous username and only matches a whole mention. The mention must not follow a word character, ., @ or -, and must not be followed by another username character. A trailing . that ends a sentence still counts as the end of the mention.
saveUserIdentity uses it in place of the inline regex. Case-insensitive matching is kept.
Steps to test or reproduce
Users jo and john exist. Post @john and @jo in a room.
Rename jo to joe.
Before: the message reads @joehn and @joe. After: @john and @joe.
Tests
replaceUsernameMentions.test.ts: the longer-username, dotted-username and email cases fail against the previous regex and pass with this change. Plain, case-insensitive and end-of-sentence mentions keep working. The existing saveUserIdentity tests still pass.

Bug Fixes
Mentions in messages are now updated more accurately when a username changes. Matching is case-insensitive and respects punctuation boundaries, while avoiding changes to email addresses, longer usernames, or text where the mention is part of another word. Repeated mentions are handled consistently, and usernames with dots, hyphens, non-English letters, or combining marks are less likely to be matched incorrectly.
Username renames now use a helper to replace case-insensitive, whole-username mentions. Tests cover username boundaries, email-address contexts, Unicode characters, and literal replacement text. A patch changeset records the fix.
The helper escapes the previous username and replaces whole-username matches while excluding email-address contexts and adjacent username characters. saveUserIdentity uses the helper. Tests cover matching and non-matching cases, and the changeset describes the fix.
