I spent over $1500 just last month on a mini pc that has the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and on 128GB of ram. It's a bit too soon for me to give up unfortunately. It is very disappointing. If I hadn't seen the numerous issues and discussions where work was being done with the newer strix halo gfx1151, I probably would have already given up. |

You can try unoffficial ROCm Support if you already have device. But it is experimental support, and needs testing and feedback. |

I feel deceived and very disappointed in AMD. I got a laptop with ai 365 last year, and it seems AMD has already abondon these chips now. |

It's almost August. Any updates? I'm familiar with AMD's history (my 7040 didn't receive ROCm support until it was obsolete) ... but since AMD named it the "AI 300" it seemed like they would make an attempt this time? |

We are getting in a territory where "false advertising" can and maybe should be discussed ... I bought my Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 also for mobile AI workloads and did expect at first that it does work. While it is bearable for me to wait a while for support, non-communication about any timeline is an absolute no go ... For my RX 9070 XT at least there was an happy end ... |

Suggestion Description
Having applied this kernel patch: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/series/136294/ and the necessary firmware from
amd-ipu-staging, I now wonder when the HX 365/370 chips will get ROCm support. Hopefully soon, would love to push my new laptop in terms of AI!Operating System
