The PythonJournos group was originally formed as a study group, focusing on the Learning Python, 4th Edition book by Mark Lutz. The book is hefty, providing a deep dive into Python versions 2.6 and 3.1.
Discussion leaders, listed below, typically read a chapter and kick off discussions by posting a summary to our Google Group. Check out our Google Group archives for past discussions.
The Lutz book costs about $35 and is 1,100 pages. If you've ordered the book but need to get started faster, you can check out the Kindle version (Kindle app available for most computer operating systems), which has an extensive sample.
