In the Windows source tree, we implemented the ability for PowerShell Direct (i.e. PowerShell Remoting over Hyper-V sockets) to enter a VM or container with PowerShell Core (specifically pwsh.exe) instead of Windows PowerShell/powershell.exe.

Those PRs are tracked as 1376621 and 1174588, and they need to be forward-ported to PowerShell Core.
