I want to add that supposedly according to pluggable, their ts3 and ts4 docks are supposed to work, but when I tried it myself on the ts3 they did not.

So I finally put together a setup and was able to get some datapoints on a few products. My setup is two identical acer dvi monitors. I know DVI is rare these days but maybe it will help someone

Working DDC/ CI

Their own support staff told me that they had no docks that supported DDC/CI which I found unlikely, and since it was on sale I gave it a shot and sure enough, the dock works perfectly and does not cut off the DDC signals. The dock only has one display port out but I was able to connect a usbc -> dvi adapter and both outputs passed on the DDC signals correctly.

Non working DDC/ CI

I plugged the below directly into a mbp m2 pro and was unable to control my monitors

Non working display clown car setup

I had a working DDC/ CI setup before

Intel Mac -> EGPU -> DP to DVI -> Monitor 

I thought if it works, maybe I could put a thunderbolt/ usb c adapter in front of that and things should still work.
I had a working DDC/ CI setup before

Silicon Mac -> usbc to DP adapter -> DP to DVI -> Monitor 

But no matter which brand of usb c -> dp female adapter I got, it would not work. Not even basic image, disregarding DDC/CI
