Hi there, I recommend using BetterDisplay instead, and then choose this feature:
This will probably get into MonitorControl when I finish stripping down BetterDisplay to a future MonitorControl version. I don't really plan to add any features to the current (old) MonitorControl code. |

add an option for "when external display exists" show menu bar icon.
The menu bar icon is mostly useful with external display.

when select "when external display exists": the icon automatically shows up once an external display is connected and disappears once there is no external display or when only the built-in display is in use.
