Bug Description

Bonsai can freeze when adding an IfcWall. This is reproducible on some file with a medium size curve. When the annotation is not visible when adding the wall, there is no hang. (It is inconvenient to draw when the annotation is a reference drawing.)

This happens with Blender 5.0.0 running from Flatpak on Guix with the Bonsai 0.8.4 extension.

To reproduce:

• create an empty IFC project
• import a svg file (attached), join all its curves to one convert one with ctrl-j
• add an IfcWall

Now blender becomes unresponsive and stays at 100% CPU on one core. There is no debug output on the console.
