Application hangs when longtext field window is filled with more than about 650 characters #2388

Description
Try to fill text in a longtext field with the text window or directly into the field. When text is longer than about 650 characters, application crashes. The bug is new in this build, before it was no problem.
Tests:
- Copy text from existing data above, same effect.
- restart application and try again: same effect.
- update with mysql-request: works!
