I don't know anything about worldgen, but this made sense to me. Very helpful. Checkstyle fixes are probably all that needs to be done.

Can these changes be hotswapped using /reload? That might be something to mention.
I added a worldgen page to the docs, it includes documentation for creating trees and ores.
