Microsoft.Winget.Client can't be upgraded also with admin rights #5443

Hi Paul (@Paul051962), sorry for the late reply. This was a bug in UniGetUI 2026.3.0, and admin rights have nothing to do with it. In that version, every PowerShell 7 module install or update failed with exactly this error:

I can't update the “PowerShell Modules for the Windows Package Manager Client” module (Microsoft.Winget.Client) from version 1.12.440 to version 1.29.380, even with administrator privileges. What do I need to do to install the update?
This ist the error-massage which i get allways:
