Troll emoji #227

Description

@Crissov

Trolls are an inherent part of Internet culture. Their origins are mostly found in Nordic mythology, but an emoji could be unified with other creatures like Ogres, Orcs and other humanoid monsters. Many people find the Japanese one 👹 not fitting, because they are expecting greenish, grayish or beige skin instead of red.

A popular phrase is “Don’t feed the troll(s)!”, and feeding a troll is usually associated with fish 🐟, perhaps because that’s the toll for bridge trolls in some stories.
