The WP-SCSS PHP plugin has served me well in the past, and I would like to see it continue to serve the community. With my development career now focused on JS/TS/React, I rarely use PHP and don't maintain many websites that use the WP-SCSS plugin.
So I'm reaching out here to get a new maintainer(s) set up and onboarded to give this plugin the care it needs.
Hi, I found the bug fix from the last release and you asked me to reach out if I was interested in helping to maintain the plugin. I may be, but not sure how much help I can be with my schedule, but I don't mind being added as a maintainer to help with bugfixes
I got admin access to this GitHub repo last week and have sent you both invites to this repo with write access. This should let you create PR's directly and merge them in. Let's aim to have another person review before merging.
I merged in #237 which could use some testing, then we can bump the version and push that out.
I'll then take that code and push it up to WordPress' SVN to make the next version live.
@rushhee Yes! I have one person who has interest, having another would be more better. I see you added one PR. Please open another with another update, then I'll look at adding you as a maintainer.
Hi @shadoath — I found this issue through the WP-SCSS plugin page. Are you still looking for a maintainer or co-maintainer? I'm a software engineer and would like to understand the maintenance burden before proposing anything. If this is still open: are you aiming for a full handoff or shared maintenance; what currently consumes most effort (WordPress/PHP/ScssPhp compatibility, releases, support/security, or something else); and are there recurring user problems that remain underserved? I'm not asking for access or private data at this stage, and this isn't a commercial offer — I'm just checking whether there's a real fit. — Pierre Gaumant

Hi,
I'm interested in helping out. I've been using the plugin for years and use PHP every day.

OK Great!
I'll start getting more familiar with the codebase.

If you can't support with your time, a monetary contribution is always a great incentive.
