The Dockerfile now uses FROM python:3.14.0-slim, but the Python project has not released a 3.14 series yet and the tag is absent from Docker Hub. Attempting to build this sample image will therefore fail with manifest unknown (or similar) before any of the app code runs. Consider upgrading to an actually published slim image such as 3.12 or 3.11 to keep the example buildable while still reducing vulnerabilities.
