As per work in #4815.
The text field is now redundant, but will leave in for a few releases to potentially allow recovery after accidental overwrite of content when saving with new limitations on content formatting.
This previously held original (raw) user comment text markdown input.
Probably a rare likelihood, but no real downside to keeping the field around for a few releases just in case.
