• Draft recommendations for fixed media firmware files
• Require a firmware partition separate from ESP
  • Use block oriented callback IO
  • OS is not allowed to modify (don't mount it)
• Talk about behaviour of eMMC boot partitions -- redundancy? Wear leveling?
• Need an ABI for runtime firmware callback to OS for variable storage -- file oriented; common case is store to platform's firmware directory in ESP or fixed media firmware partition.
