French ice dancers Guillaume Cizeron and Laurence Fournier-Beaudry have changed the music for their rhythm dance for the 2025/26 season from Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus” to a selection of Madonna tracks to comply with ISU rules.

The music for Guillaume Cizeron and Laurence Fournier-Beaudry’s rhythm dance has been revealed. The duo will skate to a medley of tracks including “Vogue Bette Davis Dub,” “Rescue Me House Boat,” and “Vogue” by Madonna and Shep Pettibone.

Initially, the French pair’s program was set to “Personal Jesus” by Depeche Mode, released in 1989. However, according to the International Skating Union (ISU) rules, the theme for the 2025/26 rhythm dance must feature music from the 1990s.

Following their performance at the Masters de Patinage in France, a U.S. judge raised concerns during discussions with other international judges about whether their chosen music met the thematic requirements. As a result, the skaters decided to change their program’s music.

Cizeron and Fournier-Beaudry’s next performance is scheduled for the first Grand Prix event in France, taking place from October 17 to 19.
