And those interstitial ads also quite annoying. Youtube page used to be compressed, but now its always load the uncompressed page. Maybe someday they will remove compression completely on all pages. Dissapointing.

I turned off "Lock Screen News" also turned off "Start Page Content" and turned off "News Notification"

In Extreme mode our servers download all resources for your page, render the page and then send result to the client (for example in Africa). As long as there is a reasonable link between your web server and Opera Mini servers, the distance is not that important. Most typically problems with long page loading are caused by some JavaScripts and ad frameworks.

If you want to make sure your website works for most of the users please check it against Extreme mode, which is what most users use.

I also recommend you take a while to understand how Opera Mini works, as understanding that in Extreme mode pages are rendered on our servers and not on the phone is a key to making sites that work well:

But Opera Mini Server (for download capabilities) & & the built in download manager of Opera Mini needs upgradation & improvements.
Opera Mini's file downloading speed is not stable. Any downloading speed gets gaining then speed falling. Sometimes I get 700-800KBPS & sometimes 0-32KBPS.
