Seems LBC is no longer floating anyone's boat.
From what used to be top of the table on DS, interest is gradually fading away.
Surely this will be mirrored in listening figures eventually.
Apart from Ferrari, JOB, and maybe Iain Dale, everyone is so dreadful.
    Needs a Huge shake up.
    Especially PM.

Not sure how much this thread is related to the listening figures ?
LBC is still on its own in the amount of callers it takes. It’s closest rival ( for phone in speech radio)Talk that shares a building with , the S*n (and others) currently is no competition for LBC.
Radio 5 , which has occasional phone ins also isn’t doing the same thing as LBC.
Times radio ,📻 does it take public calls ?

I would like this thread to reflect more about LBC and its callers and presenters and what happens day to day but it seems to become a political opinion battlefield very often.
I agree with the dreadful amount of output on LBC.
Ben doesn’t float it with me at 10 pm. Is Ben Kentish popular ?
I don’t want to agree with every presenter but want to be entertained and have someone who presents well. Like Ferrari. Even if I shout out at the radio.

James Obr said last week he’s ahead of Radio 4 now at the same time ….

I just can’t listen to so many of the regulars

    Or the presenters 😆

    😅😂
I hear the regulars say more words in one week than some of my family members 🤪

Watched a video of Lewis Goodall interviewing Leila Cunningham formerly Dupuy a Reform spokesperson. She is the daughter of Egyptian immigrants, is a Muslim and has 7 children......the sort of person Donald Trump would regard as a threat to European civilisation .

Laila was defending her leader from the claims he would frequently say things like "Hitler was right" to Jewish students at Dulwich College. She claimed it was a political smear by all 20-30 former students.

She didn't want to call them liar but said maybe their recollections were of something that didn't happen and recollections vary a year from now, two years from now, definitely 45 years from now. She said 20+ people making allegations should not be taken seriously.

Astonishingly till early this year she worked for the Crown Prosecution Service.

Interestingly throughout out that debate she looked away from Lewis, looking round the studio and at times almost had her back to Lewis.

Judge Judy would have told her don't over there look at me.....which she says to people she believes is making things up.

    Blimming woman is everywhere

She's nasty, just awful. Sadly, her 'protect the rich, **** the poor, lets all hate on immigrants' schtick is getting a lot of underserved attention especially considering she was a minor London conservative who crossed over.

She’s probably been sent out to distract from Farage’s little problem with racism.

Is the Daily Fail's "Benefit Street" headline brought to us by Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch and the numbers 4 and 7?

Isn't she an immigrant herself though?

Whether or not if she is, she like that Zia Yusuf will learn the hard way, just like so many like her in the Tory party did. (Warsi, Ghani, Salma Shah, Sajid Javid even Miraj)

Europe's main football authority UEFA has given Maccabi Tel Aviv football club a suspended one match away ban because some of its supporters using "racist and/or discriminatory behaviour" at a UEFA match in Germany last week.

I wonder how many at LBC will be raising this? Many of them were presuming the worst when the West Midlands Police placed a ban on their fans for a match in Birmingham against Aston Villa didn't they?

I wonder if Iain Dale who called the local MP to Aston by a very abusive term on X will have the decency to mention this latest sanction or will he stay silent?
