Temple of Noize seems to have ended, and has been replaced with Seamus Haji's syndicated Big Love Radio Show as of a few weeks ago. Some of the other presenters don't seem to have noticed yet, as Ashley Conrad said that Temple of Noize was up next tonight.

After coming back for a while, Temple of Noize finally ended for good a few weeks ago. El Conchitas said in her last episode that the reason is due to moving to Ibiza.
Now, did someone say there's not enough middle-aged white men spinning house music on this station....? Not to worry, because former presenter WÏLES has returned to play some high quality house music.
Not sure why the syndicated Defected show is still in the 9pm Wednesday slot which used to be Temple of Noize; I waited a few weeks to see if this would be corrected but WÏLES's show remains on at the unsociable hour of Thursdays 0:00 (Wednesday night) and also on Saturdays at 1:00 (Friday night).
New schedule from Gaydio launching in January. I think they currently have local programming in the evening? It looks like this will be coming to an end with the changes. Nice to see them introduce a female in to the lineup after years of a male dominated schedule in the week

Quality RadioToday reporting as always; the text says that the late show is at 11pm but the schedule lower down on the page shows that it's 9pm-11pm.
As far as local programming goes, it looks like the main change is that a lot fewer programmes will be exclusive to Brighton or Manchester and the same presenters will now present nationally, with the in-the-mix programming pushed a couple of hours later each evening to make room for that, so it should still meet the key commitments of the Brighton licence of 25 hours per week originating from there. The in-the-mix programming will now be past my bedtime but there's Listen Again for that.
I honestly hadn't noticed that the daytime presenters do split links already (according to the RadioToday article); is that only in Manchester and Brighton?

They're on SSDAB in Manchester and Brighton - I don't know about Brighton, but the Manchester SSDAB has vastly superior coverage to their 88.4 FM which is officially only "Central Manchester" and gets blasted off the dial by Radio 2 south of the city centre. They additionally have the Stockport, Oldham and Bolton/Bury muxes that give them pretty much full Greater Manchester terrestrial coverage.
At some point, the additional effort and expense needed to provide separate programming to tick a box for the tiny, limited-coverage FM licence will outweigh the usefulness of the FM licence, and we may now have reached that stage. It would not surprise me in the slightest to see these programme changes accompanied by a "we're going digital" announcement in the new year.
Hastings will carry Gaydio as part of the round 5 SSDAB muxes in the next couple of weeks. It's interesting to see if that includes the Brighton feed and the changes. I just seen medway as well.

Surprise they haven't launched online spin off stations like Gaydio anthems or Gaydio Rock. Gaydio should be more than just dance music.
Someone here did say that they should offer alternatives to dance.

Let's see if it launches; I thought they had stopped going on more SSDAB muxes, but maybe I'm just disappointed that they never showed interest in the South Glos SSDAB mux which is very cheap and would have been convenient in the car.
Incidentally, they expressed interest in the Pure West SSDAB muxes, but just like the ridiculous list of made-up stations on that application, it never appeared on them.

Yep, now we just need a couple of straight presenters to fully tick that diversity box ..... 😉
