Horizon seem to be having some issues in Milton Keynes at the moment:
I tuned in for their "Rock Block" programme on DAB and they were playing "I Think We're Alone Now" by Tiffany! The following tracks were definitely not rock either.
FM 105.5 is just noise.
MKFM, who use the same FM transmission site, (the roof of the council offices in the city centre), sound fine - signal wise at least!
The RDS on this one seems pretty good compared with a lot of community stations. They seem to be using the same text for both the DAB DLS and RDS Radio Text though, and it's on the long side - so the "now playing" song info often seems to go over the 64 character limit and gets truncated

I was walking past their booth in Milton Keynes shopping centre about half an hour ago and I saw something that I have never seen before - there was actually someone inside working! (I'm fairly sure it wasn't a mirage ).
It definitely wasn't PippaD though, who according to their website presents the noon to 3pm show.
They too have got their Christmas decorations up already!

I wonder who the stream provider was? Unprofessional behaviour and to be well avoided!
I'm sure it'll turn out to be usual community radio infighting !
