To avoid printing yet another large photo, here's a link to Biden's plaque:

I think in some ways this is even worse than the Reiner outrage. Firing off a tweet can just about be excused if it comes over as harsher than intended (yeah, I know it was probably meant to be even worse, but he's not erudite enough to convey his thoughts well), but these insults are proof-read and wordsmithed into coherent diatribes and then engraved and framed and then presented to visitors as the way the country is now run, which is to show utter contempt for half of Americans while assuming the other half have the mentality of a badly-behaved toddler.

Some republicans think it's brilliant too, imagine how they'd react if a democrat president put up even 10% as childish plaques about their presidents, they'd be screaming for impeachment.

Even Biden was respectful towards Trump in office despite everything he did (including trying to overturn his election violently!), so it really shows up the orange one's lack of class.

Tucker Carlson seems to think that Trump is going to declare war on Venezuela tonight.

This week he has come across even more unhinged than usual

    Anything to distract from Epstein.

They’re dismantling the National Center for Atmospheric Research which is one of the most respected institutions in Earth Science,Trump’s 2nd term is beginning to make his first one look like some sort of golden era which was a shitshow as well.

He could broadcast from the ruins of the East Wing.

Here's the latest model of the thing he cares most about, now showing it'll be way bigger than the entire WH in all dimensions. Soon it'll be visible from space, which is good as the next administration can write 'Stay Away' on the roof to warn off ETs as clearly we're not worthy yet of their attention.

If that is how big he intends to have it built it will very literally look like a White Elephant in comparison to the elegance of the White House. Yet another example of his aim in life to ensure he gets attention. Trump's only problem in regard to this edifice is the total lack of taste, which was obvious anyway. No doubt the interior will be decked in gold everywhere. The only thing it's suited for is for him to be locked up in it and then call it an Asylum.

I’m no expert on buildings but that looks terrible,as you say he’s destroying the simple classical design and elegance of the White House with that monstrosity of a ballroom,it looks so out of sync with the rest of the building.

Apparently she thinks the Egyptian air force killed Charlie Kirk, and she’s next. They followed him around America in various military aircraft, and it’s happening to her now too. So she says. I’m sure people like that used to be gently but firmly pulled aside by doctors and hustled off for treatment if they didn’t come quietly of their own accord. Now they broadcast themselves and millions watch a mental breakdown for entertainment. It’s actually barbaric. It says nothing good about the era we’re all living through.

Owens and the widow Kirk have fallen out big time over her allegations about Charlie Kirk’s death.

God it’s all like something you’d watch on Netflix, and after twenty minutes you’d think ‘this is shit, I hate all the characters and it’s so far fetched, I wonder what else is on’.

I’ve developed a crush on Sam Stein at the Bulwark, and another on Tim Miller at the same, which is the only reason I’ve even heard of Candace Owens. Meghan Kelly is another horrific nutjob they sometimes reference.

He found out that being the conspiracy theory grifter he was before he was given the job was far easier and much more lucrative than being the deputy director of the FBI, a role he should never have been appointed to in the first place, totally unqualified like his idiot of a boss Kash Patel.

I wonder if Trump is up to his neck in the Epstein files how all the MAGAs who accuse everyone they don't like of being paedophiles will act.

He’ll likely do the other side to balance it out. And the middle part - what’s the point of a tiny house in between two giant wings?

At that point, you might as well make it a quadrangle by adding a fourth wing. All that gold in Fort Knox can do for the roofing.
It really is pure Albert Speerism.

I still have to laugh my head off at the "Trump derangement syndrome" nonsense, these are the same people who have never shut up ranting about Obama and Biden and blaming them for everything bad in the world. The "Thanks, Obama" meme was going around over a decade ago (even pre-Trump) because of republicans getting angry about him all the time and attacking him for ridiculously minor things that most of the time had nothing to do with him- Obama Derangement Syndrome!

Congress is recessing early for Christmas tonight rather than Friday. I'm going to ask a naive question. Is this to avoid scrutiny of the Epstein files release or the release altogether?
