Regarding Balvinder maybe after what happened with Jamie last year the Eastenders team didn't want another cast member doing the tour.

The tour sells well before a single couple is cast. I got my tickets within two days of it being announced, and the lower tier at the o2 was 3/4 sold for every show.

Has anyone ever forked out for floor seats? I wonder what that's like as an experience? They'd all sold before I managed to get the o2 to realise I was a human being. I spent two days fighting their system which thought I was a robot.

Everyone who makes Blackpool is surely asked first (unless the producers think it's going to lead to an unbalanced show). Quite a few of the cast seem to have prior commitments this year.

Are Layton & Nikita performing two routines like the others or just special guests?

Not fussed for them. Wonder why they’ve brought them back after two years. He’s already done the tour and won a few. Hope Lewis wins a lot as he should’ve been in the final

I’m going to Manchester on the Sunday so happy George and Lewis will be there

No Karen. Thought she’d for sure do it. Disappointing if she wins they don’t have the winner for the second year in a row

Laytons already won the tour so won’t be competing this time just dancing with Nikita including their Argentine Tango which they didn’t get to do last time.

Have they said they are doing their AT? I thought perhaps Layton might sub for Amber and do dances from this season?

Is quite funny that from the very first tour, where every single participant had made the final four of their series we've gradually widdled down to...this, where depending on the night you might not even get one person competing who even scraped Blackpool.

Anyway if Alexis wins she'll be the first pro ever to win the tour glitterball in their debut year, so that's nice.

I think Artem eon with Kara in his first season on SCD.

Layton said in an insta story yesterday that they would be doing their AT.

I don't go to the tour, but it is always interesting to see the line up. I'm pleased Jimmy is taking part. He seemed to love his time on the show and I felt had a few more weeks in him. I'm sure his daughters will be thrilled.

The way he spoke about Lauren in his exit speech was very sweet

I did floor seats at Leeds for a couple of years. Leeds is a relatively small arena so I was very close to the dancefloor and got a bit of interaction with the dancers - I remember high fiving Aljaz and having a little chat with Graziano. It was only worth it if you could get front row floor seats though, I wouldn't pay for second row as the view would be through people's heads.

agreed - we've done floor seats twice at the O2 - once at the front and once at the side. Front is better and you really feel part of the action. But you have to have row A - row B feels a total rip off as their is no raking and must be so hard to see. They are hard to get though

I remember I booked regular seats but got upgraded to floor seats after telling the O2 staff that I was in the spectrum. I ended up sitting right next to @hayleybb and her boyfriend, and had a great view of everything; my seat gave me the best possible view of Aljaz and Janette dancing together and kissing during the opening number.

I will be going to Newcastle arena. Never been and hopefully, its a reasonable veiw for where we are although we're quite a few rows back.

Do big venues have a screen where the stage performances are projected on?

I have only been to the o2, but they have two massive screens up above and either side of the 'stage' which is where the judges sit. The couples (and group dances) perform in front of the 'stage' on a big oval dance floor. So you have the choice to look down on the dancing or watch on the screens. They have at least 3 cameramen (in tuxedos!) who have a script so they know where they need to focus. The 'director' and sound/lighting people sit at a desk at the opposite end of the oval to the judges. It's very interesting to see them in action.

Thank you. I took a risk, but I'd definitely have been disappointed if I only had the stage view from a distance.

I haven't watched a lot of this series and have never bothered going to the tour but I've just bought a ticket for Brum on the Sunday evening mainly to see Katya and Lewis. I'm looking forward to watching Nikita and Layton too.

Nabbed a single seat in 6th row lower block but the dance floor area looks pretty big so I have no idea if the view will be any way half decent. 😂

Toyah with Jan Ravnik - I weirdly want to see that now. Which of them would have worse technique? 😂

at least Jan has been given a celeb to dance with, unlike Val who's on backing dancer duty 🤣

The fake Wiki entry has got me wondering what the tour group dances will be. The Diversity collaboration was by far my favourite pro dance of the season but since they won't be doing that one, I'd say the next best two were the Halloween 'Teenage Wedding' dance and the Britney tribute. I also imagine they'll do the Eras dance to get the judges involved in a number. Any other thoughts?

Launch Show Opener,Steps Megamix either the dance to ordinary or the wicked group dance.

If George and Lewis have prior commitments from some of the tour dates why have them on the tour? Wouldnt it be better having celebs who can do all the dates?

I mean it’s not exactly that easy - we could’ve been in a situation with no finalists on the tour if George wasn’t doing the dates he’s doing.

They’ve had to go back to week 5 with Jimmy’s inclusion (nothing against him as I thought he went out too early, but they’d have definitely got Amber, Kaz, Bal or Alex if they could).

Well ... the only remaining options from this year's cast seem to be Tom, Ross and Chris (doubt Stefan will stay 2 more months in the UK for a tour, can't even do it with Dianne either) ... so if you prefer to see those instead of possibly Lewis and George ... you do you I guess :D There would have been no celeb that made it past Blackpool on the tour if they didn't agree with this patchy schedule for those two.

Given they've reached booking Jimmy who was eliminated in week 5 (went a bit too early, but still), it's clear they've asked everyone that stayed longer, but Amber, Karen, Alex & Bal couldn't do it for different reasons.
