  You can get your Tesco Pay As You Go balance by calling 282, texting "BALANCE" to 2112, or downloading the Tesco Mobile app. Alternatively, you can dial 4444 or use the code *#10# on your keypad.

  I tried them and didn't work so that's why i asked on here. Apparently it's changed to 4488. Not sure if it's because of this new pay as you go tariff system that started earlier this month.

  Same problem with O2. I now just get result unknown. It was such a convenient way of checking my balance. Shame it no longer works.
