Thinkbroadband has an article about Ofcom's report for mobile in the UK.

This tells us interesting numbers such as this: Monthly mobile data usage increased by 18% over the past year, reaching 1,257 petabytes, a growth rate which was consistent with the previous year. 5G made up 28% of this with 348PB being recorded, and 31% of 5G traffic was 5G standalone.
It also shows that even in England (with the higher numbers) there is a lot of work to do to get even outdoor 5G coverage (67%) to more people; and there is no number for indoor 5G. Compared to 4G at 99%.
More interestingly is the a geographic coverage figure for 4G, for UK is 89-90%, and for England (95-96%), Wales (84-90%), NI (90-96%), and Scotland (79-81%). So the complexity of covering the large and quite rural areas of Scotland continue to be problematic. I guess where you have no people, you have no electricity either.
