Genuinely happy for them if they're having a moment with Shook/Jungle. They deserve it after everything they've been through as a group and in their personal lives. Those two songs still aren't for me, and probably never will be... but if it leads to more new stuff coming sooner than later. Great!

Shook is getting solid radio play. I’ve heard it a few times on Radio 2 in the last few days. And long may it continue - I absolutely love it!

Really pleased for them - having worked their socks off they deserve it & much more.🙂

    That's good news.

It wasn’t going to chart for the reasons we’ve discussed here before and The Lost Tapes was a surprise release on Christmas Eve with 0 promotion and once it was released, it was never mentioned again cos they went quiet (which is so unlike them) until When The Rain Comes 10 months later. Don’t forget that the One Touch re-issue charted, admittedly at #18.

I don’t want a re-recorded GH album. Fans went mad at the idea in 2006, Mutya wasn’t happy about it publicly.

Really? What did Mutya and Siobhan say about the idea of the 3rd line-up re-recording the greatest hits in 2006?
I don't think it'd be a good idea and would be wiser if the original line-up do a greatest hits album to have a sort of "live in concert" style, rather than seeming like they're trying to re-write history.
I think Heidi's Mum has already accused them of that.

It seems as though Heidi will be featuring in Louis Theroux' documentary about girl bands, and I guess sort of representing Sugababes.
I think she has spoken kindly about the original line-up in radio interviews, but I do worry if she gives her version of events no doubt leading to Keisha being ousted in 2009 and the group eventually disbanding where it won't be a good look for the girls now. I think it's a shame it's not one of the current girls in the documentary. Though in fairness Heidi was there for a large part of the group's history.

Siobhan just said she heard they were going to rerecord it but didn't. She was quite dismissive in the video at the time saying she never wished to go back, the pressure of being an ex sugababe, she never know what Keisha's problem was, and that they were never friends. Which shows how things can change.

A rerecorded Greatest Hits wouldnt feel like a Greatest Hits more of a reimagining. I could see them doing it if a new album doesn't work out. Im not sure where they fit now.

Albums seem weird, I looked at the album chart earlier, and Jade was down to 83, and Perrie seemed to have dropped out completely. I wonder if albums will die out. Although I love JADE's and love she has done a video for each song.

The girl band documentary will be interesting. I wonder how much Heidi will go into things. Because there is so much hyping of " the sacred three", I wonder if it would even be worth saying anything. It seems clear Heidi and Keisha were just work colleagues more than friends. At the time, Heidi says she knows she did the right thing but it must hurt a little to see the people she was in a band with, singing songs she did. However that has been much of the Sugababes history with someone looking on, after they left.

Whilst MKS are Sugababes now, I would like Heidi, Keisha, Mutya and Amelle to find peace with each other. So many bands have lost a member and you never really know what the future holds.

Finished listening to Mutya’s audiobook last night. It was an interesting listen about stuff in her personal life I didn’t have previous knowledge of, but it certainly wasn’t any sort of xpose on the group itself or any previous members.

Oh I'd love for there to be peace it's like the cast of Charmed honestly ...all the bitterness there's no need

It's a shame because Heidi was a part of the most successful era lineup 2002-06 Mutya, Keisha, Heidi was iconic you know?! So it'll be gutting if one day they don't reunite or something

I do love Mutya and Keisha are back out there and performing all the stuff but snubbing Catfights and Spotlights and Sweet 7 of course ...but everything from Overload - About You Now it's fab to see and hear of course.

I'm sort of feeling they missed their window now.

The comeback has been longer than any lineup.

Everyone knows Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan are the line up. That buzz has gone.

Flowers, Rain, Jungle, Weeds and Shook didn't set the chart alight. Not that they were expected to.
It took me a while to say it but Weeds is the best of the songs. I found Shook a song by numbers but Ive kinds forgotten about. I liked Jungle. I do worry if they are the strongest tracks.

They have done the Festival scene to death and although hearing overload-2.0 Catalogue -AYN is great nostalgia, I think it could get samey. Weeds never listens to fall in love with it. Although Jungle and Shook may get good receptions, for non fans, I think they would end up a bar break in a years time.

Unless the new album delivers an Overload, Freak, Push, Round or AYN, their best bet for new interest is to deal out Easy, Denial or Get Sexy to create a buzz. The later will never happen unless they link the rap into another song.

They are a weird case study that the public and media keep talking like they have just comeback but its been 6 years now!

It is hard for older artists though, Radio1 are too cool for school and dont want to know them, they're not on the streaming playlists. Kylie is only in the Xmas no1 running because Amazon has paid for exclusive and Alexa's are playing her by default.

Maybe Sugababes need to rework the Love Actually classic Too Lost In You for 2026 and give Jeff Bezos a ring.
