Re: Post your unpopular opinions on SCD
Seen a mixture of opinions so possibly not unpopular so might be the wrong thread but Jules/Julian, I think is a great addition to the male pro lineup, hope he is back next year. He really impressed me in the instant dance challenge with how he supported/instructed Bal. Also felt he made their partnership about Bal and not himself, doesn’t appear to have used their partnership to promote himself. Comes across as a decent human and an encouraging supporting teacher.

Balvinder never improved and was overscored every week. Julian's choreography was very basic too. That salsa was not up to standard for a semi final. Balvinder's best moment was the instant dance challenge. Her and Julian seemed to have a genuine bond though which was lovely.
Bal certainly did improve. And her salsa was better than Karens imo.
Julian is also a very good teacher.
Re: Coronation Street - Suspension of Reality (Part 13) *NO SPOILERS*
Street cars Christmas party consisted of the 2 owners Tim/ Steve and Cassie in the Rovers no drivers whatsoever , the extras budget must be zilch.

Fleur saying that Amber is the first celeb ever to score a 40 three weeks in a row, with Nikita sat there, when Layton also did it. A true test of loyalty, a true challenge to this show's edict to all its pros that they must throw all their previous partnerships in the bin because whatever's happening now is with the bestest best friend for life you've ever best friended.

Possibly unpopular opinion. I like Carlos, enjoy his choreography and have no problem at all that's he's emotional.
Same and, as I said elsewhere, I think it's the height of toxic masculinity to criticise a man for showing he's emotionally affected by events he's taking part in. It's also really not a good look to be criticising an openly gay man from a culture and a country that's known to be LGBTQ+ hostile and oppressive in general imho.

Re: “Big” things in soap which now feel like they never happened?
Dev fathering many children with all of his shop staff had no foreshadowing before and has been entirely forgotten in the years since. It really feels like it sits in its own little island of Corrie history as if you skipped those few years you would have absolutely no idea that this would/did happen.

Re: Strictly Tour 2026 - Lineup Discussion
Regarding Balvinder maybe after what happened with Jamie last year the Eastenders team didn't want another cast member doing the tour.
How exactly is Balvinder responsible for Jamie being an idiot?
Indeed, how exactly are Eastenders themselves responsible for that?

They don't expect you to do anything, you have a choice you know that?

Why was Todd so coy? The cameras would have recorded what really happened, but then again, maybe if the copper interviewing him wasn't a near neighbour he may have been more likely to tell him more his private business.
That is true.
Are the police allowed to be involved in friends/neighbours cases?
Further to this, I found the writing of Kit’s character quite a stretch during the questioning scene.
You could see how timid and defensive Todd was during the interview, are police officers not trained to scope out body language and behaviour, especially in these kind of cases?
