Somatic clones expressing dome^HMS01293 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Tub.PU contain a smaller overall number of cells and intestinal stem cells in adult flies compared to controls and show a reduction in the ratio of stem cells/clone.

The expression of dome^KK104700 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ci.PU leads to the non-autonomous induction of ectopic wing structures in third instar larval wing discs, as compared to controls. Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^en-e16E (and Dicer-2, for more efficient RNAi) leads to a severe size reduction of the third instar larval wing disc posterior compartment, as compared to controls.
