Expression of MarfKK105681 under the control of Scer\GAL4VGlut-OK371 significantly reduces mitochondrial length in axons of adult neurons, compared to controls, with no effect on mitochondrial number, compared to controls.

Expression of MarfKK105681 in the posterior signalling center (PSC) under the control of either Scer\GAL4Antp-10 leads to an increase in the number of circulating lamellocytes.

Mitochondria in the indirect flight muscles are shorter in the long-axis direction than normal in 5 day old adults expressing MarfKK105681 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mhc.PW.
