Overexpression of yki^{Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5} driven by Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PI in somatic clones does not induce tumorigenesis in the ovarian follicular epithelium.

Expression of yki^{Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5} in the developing wing under the control of Scer\GAL4^C5 significantly increases the wing size by 27%, with approximately 80% of the wings being too malformed to measure.

Expression of yki^{Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5} under the control of Scer\GAL4^{Scer\FRT.Act5C} strongly stimulates clone expansion so that individual clones as well as the entire wing discs are larger.

Expression of yki^{Scer\UAS.T:SV5\V5} under the control of Scer\GAL4^{Scer\FRT.Act5C} strongly increases the adult eye size and disrupts retinal patterning, with an increase in the number of interommatidial bristle s.
