Embryos maternally mutant for Pakunspecified and both maternally and zygotically mutant for Pak3del show an intermediate myoblast fusion defect between that of the double maternal+zygotic mutants and the double zygotic mutants.
Embryos that are maternally mutant for Pak3del and both maternally and zygotically mutant for Pakunspecified show a minor myoblast fusion defect.
