Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

cora14 mutants show supernumerary boutons in the third instar larval neuromuscular junction; ventral longitudinal muscles exhibit increased evoked EJC amplitude and increased spontaneous EJC frequency.

Mutant embryos show defects in tracheal barrier function at early stage 17 (dextran leaks into the tracheal lumen after injection into the hemolymph).

Adult escapers are produced. cora8/cora14 adults have eye defects; part of the anterior equatorial region of the eye is replaced by head cuticle and associated bristles, and in other parts of the eye the ommatidia are irregular in size and shape and bristles are misplaced.
