nej^P/+ adults expressing Hsap\HOXA9::Hsap\NUP98^WT.UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4^ey.PH show ectopic wing-like structures in the dorsal-anterior part of the eye.

The nej^P/nej^TC41 and nej^P/nej¹³¹ combinations give viable adults with moderately rough eyes. The ommatidia have variable numbers of photoreceptor cells in nej^P/nej¹³¹ adults.
