Detailed Description
Statement
Reference

E(z)son3 strongly suppresses the trx-like phenotype (transformation of T1 to T2, T3 to T2 and A5 to A4) seen in E(z)Trm heterozygotes; phenotype is nearly wild-type.

Lethal when transheterozygous with E(z)son1 and E(z)son2. Lethal in trans to E(z) null alleles or deficiencies.

Additional Comments
Genetic Interactions
Statement
Reference

Strong suppressor of the z-w interaction. E(z)son3/+ shows 13% suppression of the nos abdominal phenotype. E(z)son1/E(z)son3 or E(z)son2/E(z)son3 shows 100% suppression of the nos abdominal phenotype, when the E(z)son3 allele is contributed from a germ line clone.
