The Challenge Facing U.S. Critical Materials Supply Chains: Modern defense systems, electric motors, AI infrastructure, and energy technologies rely on rare earth magnets and battery materials. Yet global supply chains remain heavily concentrated overseas, creating exposure to export controls, geopolitical risk, and supply disruption. The United States lacks sufficient midstream processing and manufacturing capacity to meet
growing demand.

recycled materials into finished, high-value products. Our platform combines urban mining, advanced processing, and domestic manufacturing to rebuild critical materials capacity at commercial scale.

Goals
Our goals are simple and measurable: (1) replicate our operating magnet-manufacturing plants in South Korea to the U.S. using modular, already-validated technologies, (2) expand our current capacity to 55,000 tpa of U.S. magnet capacity, representing ~30% of global demand outside China, (3) build 78,000 tpa capacity of battery-grade carbonates, sulfates, and precursor cathode active materials (pCAM) to support EV and energy-storage markets in the U.S.

Rare Earth Magnet Value Chain
EM&T manufactures high-performance NdFeB magnets using proven commercial plants — scaling from 660 tpa in Korea to 55,000 tpa of U.S. capacity.
Battery Materials Value Chain
EM&T processes end-of-life EV batteries into black mass and refines it into battery-grade sulfates, carbonates, and pCAM through integrated hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical systems, with planned 78,000 tpa of U.S. output capacity.
Precious Metals Value Chain
EM&T processes classified and commercial e-scrap to recover non-ferrous concentrates and precious metals for re-entry into U.S. manufacturing supply chains.
