Eurovision Choir 2023 is planned to be held this coming autumn according to the Head of the EBU TV Music Expert Group.
Ieva Rozentāle the Head of the EBU TV Music Expert Group which oversees Eurovision Choir and the co-production of the Vienna Philharmonic’s New Year’s Concert, has spoken about her most important tasks of 2023.
Ms. Rozentāle was elected as the Head of the EBU TV Music Expert Group earlier this month and sees the return of Eurovision Choir after a four-year absence as her priority. She told LTV that:
we hope that the competition will be held again in late autumn this year.
The Latvian Producer was key in the creation of Eurovision Choir in 2017, having developed and pitched the format to the European Broadcasting Union. Find out more about the development of Eurovision Choir below:

Initially, the third edition was supposed to take place in 2021, but due to COVID-19 restrictions, the contest was canceled. To date the following broadcasters have confirmed participation:
While Switzerland (RTS) has stated it will not compete this year and Austria (ORF) will not return to the competition. The following broadcasters have participated in the contest since its first edition in 2017:
