[edit]Etymology
[edit]Borrowed from German Schwung. Derived from the verb schwingen (“to swing”), but may have caught on in several languages because it has an onomatopoeic quality to it.
Noun
[edit]schvung c or n
- oomph, verve, pizzazz, go ((positive, vigorous) speed and energy)
- Uppföljaren är rätt seg. Det behövs lite mer schvung som i originalet!
- The sequel is pretty slow. Needs [it is needed] a bit more go like [in] the original!
