Writing guides Taxon names Candidatus higher taxa should not have the word Candidatus (or the abbreviation Ca.) in their names. For example, "Hodarchaeales" is the correct usage while "Candidatus Hodarchaeales" or "Ca. Hodarchaeales" are wrong. Candidatus genera and species should have Candidatus in their names. Other taxa should not have Candidatus in their names. Article titles Articles about taxa should not have quotes or Candidatus in their titles. Participants To join the group simply add yourself to the list of participants, being sure to maintain alphabetical order.
